An Esthetician provides services focused on skin care including, but not limited to, skin treatments, facials, makeup application, and hair removal. Esthiology is the study of skincare and related skin beautification, esthetics is the practice of it. This includes facials, body treatments, waxing, or even makeup applications.

The Esthiology curriculum provides skincare training with an emphasis on using pure plant essences for treatment. The program prepares the student for the state licensing examination in Esthiology by appropriate and comprehensive training, thereby enabling graduates to enter the field of Esthiology in Des Moines, Iowa. Upon completion, students will have the skills to seek employment as a skincare specialist, make-up artist, and waxing professional, with knowledge of 蓝莓视频 products and spa techniques. The program is taught using several different types of instructional methods such as iPad curriculum, hands-on techniques, demonstrations, classroom learning, visuals, and research.
